I have never stayed in a noisier hotel … you could hear the floor above you and rooms next to you. When it came to breakfast, there were sausages but no eggs, yogurt, fruit, etc. Very disappointing!

1) Our stay was during the cold snap in MI where overnight lows were in the negatives. The purpose of our stay was due to a hockey tournament. We were not allowed to bring our hockey sticks inside. I understand the reasoning for this policy as unattended children (and even adults) ruin the experience for the rest of us. But I could not leave the sticks outside due to the weather and I accepted the responsibility of "incidental" damage charges 2) Sunday's free breakfast during the 9am hour was lacking. Nothing but white bread was available. and the drain catch of the juice machine was overflowing onto the floor. Again, I understand that the only one employee was present and doing the best she could. This is not her fault. 3) Nothing anyone could control, but the fire department did arrive and was checking the hotel for smoke as they were alerted. This continued for at least an hour on Sunday, which prompted us to check out ASAP in order to avoid any issue. We did not stay to the conclusion. 4) The fold out bed in our King suite had pocket charge in the bed. Not just under the cushions, but folded in the bed sheets 5) We had requested an extra blanket from the front desk, and we were told that we could not have one because our room came with one. Seemed strange 6) A lady had a dog that made an accident in the elevator. Again, not the fault of any of the staff, just probably should have been handled better and the run in the elevator actually cleaned.

Unexpected $100 hold on my card at check-in that was never mentioned beforehand. The room had a horrible, hard-to-describe smell the entire stay. The pool area was disgusting, hair everywhere, no towels, and a used bandaid floating in the hot tub. It was extremely overcrowded, and a kid running around with a squirt gun shot my fiancé directly in the eye with pool water while staff did nothing. Breakfast didn’t look appealing at all. The only thing I grabbed was orange juice, and it was extremely watered down. The service lady didn’t even ask how our stay was when we checked out. Overall, unsanitary, poorly managed, and not worth the money. Would not stay here again.

There are 4 of us staying and there are only 3 towels to use. We told staff that we had to use a bedsheet as one of the towels and they just laughed. They said theres nothing they can do about there not being enough towels. There are no towels in the pool either. The staff did not care.

When we checked in the elevator and hallways were so dirty. Our first room had a massive hole punched through the bathroom with black mold and a dirty shower. We were then moved to a second room that didn’t have a working furnace. Breakfast was so bad my kid puked in the lobby because of how rancid it was. To top it all off we know nothing was getting clean because an old bra was in the hallway for 3 days.

The GM and all staff were friendly and inviting! The only disappointment of the stay was the free breakfast. I love waffles and for some reason the waffle maker was not working, per the tenant/worker taking care of the breakfast. Would stay again for sure.
