🏠 Older home with character

This is an older Detroit home that has been thoughtfully renovated while preserving much of its original character. Many of the floors are the original hardwoods, which have been restored rather than replaced.

🔧 Renovation notes

As with most older homes, there may be small imperfections that come with age and prior construction. In this home, for example, there is a floor vent in the kitchen that was added during HVAC work and is a bit unusually placed, but it is not expected to be a nuisance during your stay.

🏘 The neighborhood

The home is located in a residential Detroit neighborhood that reflects the city’s character — you’ll see a mix of homes, some more updated than others. This is typical of Detroit. The neighborhood is safe, and guests often comment on how friendly people are.

🚗 Parking

Street parking only, with generally ample space available nearby for guests.

🌿 Outdoor space & gatherings

While the home comfortably accommodates larger groups indoors, outdoor hangout space is limited. Due to Airbnb policies and City regulations related to gatherings, the property is not well suited for extended outdoor lounging, dining, or socializing.

The upside is the location: being close to Midtown and Downtown Detroit, you’ll find plenty of excellent restaurants, patios, bars, and cafés within a 10-minute drive, making it easy to enjoy meals and drinks out while using the home as a comfortable place to relax and regroup.
The maximum capacity for this house is 12 people. No additional guests and no guests who are not listed on the booking.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to an additional fee and are strictly at the host`s discretion.

Our concierge will check you into the property to ensure a smooth process. You must contact our concierge at the number provided prior to arrival at the property.

Any filming or commercial photography bookings subject to approval and agreement of host.

Medium or long term stays are subject to additional cleaning. Cleaning fee is $200 every two weeks for reservations greater than 4 weeks. Reservations of 21-30 days require an additional cleaning at the two week mark (also $200).

If items in the house are damaged or broken, you will absolutely be required to pay for it.

ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES, EVENTS, GATHERINGS OR SMOKING OF ANY KIND. THE HOME IS MONITORED BY EXTERNAL SECURITY CAMERAS AND THERE ARE ANTI-SMOKING SENSORS WITHIN THE HOME.

IF YOU HAVE AN UNAUTHORIZED GATHERING OR IF YOU ARE FOUND SMOKING, YOUR RESERVATION WILL BE TERMINATED WITHOUT A REFUND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOUR RESERVATION HAS BEEN COMPLETED.
