Although Ecuador is a relatively small country, it still has five fully functional international airports. Flights to Ecuador will land at either one of these destinations depending on which part of the country you wish to travel. These international airports are spread across Ecuador: the Simon Bolivar International Airport, located in Guayaquil, the Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito, Tachina Airport based in Esmeraldas, Eloy Alfaro International Airport in Manta, and Cotopaxi Air Base in Latacunga. Each airport is conveniently located in their respective cities to enable those coming in to Ecuador can get to their destination in the city quickly and easily. From the airport, visitors can take a number of transportation options to get to where they want to go including taxis, special bus services, and trains.
Ecuador Weather
Flights to Ecuador happen year-round, and there is always a region of Ecuador where good weather is available. In the east (La Amazonia), rain falls most of the year. The lowlands (La Costa) have a rainforest climate.
