"It’s my most favorite hotel downtown Sofia. Every time I travel I have a mental review whether I should book here or The Sense hotel (which is also excellent) and I always end up at the Intercontinental. I don’t think there is a better city view anywhere else. The 6th floor terrace rooms with Cathedral view are divine. This time I stayed at the bookends 602 and 616. Can’t decide which one I like better. But I love the terraces. They have enough awning that you can hide from the sun if need be (it’s hot in August) or be in the sun if you want to it. Great for entertaining friends or just presiding over the National Assembly and the horseman and admiring Alexander Vevski Cathedral. The staff is excellent."
