Friendly staff, clean room and comfortable bed. The building is a bit tired but still a good place to stay and great value for money
Very handy for me as I wanted to be near to Donington Park race circuit.
Very friendly, but did not do food even though said they did bar snacks.
Not a problem as Castle Donington has an abundance of places to eat.
Has had many racers stay there over the years including very famous ones.
Very dated and tired furnishings. Strange skylight in the bathroom which was full of cobwebs and dead moths. One of the drawers still had the previous occupant's belongings in. Lock on the bedroom door was very loose and temperamental. Staff seemed friendly. Hotel location was very convenient and we had a good night's sleep.
Restaurant was closed no chef bar had no p
beer only one brand of whiskey there was a musty smell in the hotel it is advertised as a 3 star its more like a 1 star the hotel needs a full refurbish it's an old coaching hotel from back in the day and it's showing its age I won't be staying there again.
Was a lovely old style hotel, the staff were very helpful and nice to chat with.
Easy location to Donnington Race track, and walkable to pubs in the village.
Wrong bed! I booked a queen bed and it was 2 singles. No staff present, car park barrier locked us in, no one answered the phone or replied on email. Thankfully another disgruntled customer had the barrier exit code and I tailgated out. I decided to find another hotel nearby- this place is RANK

Loved all the old details still in the property its decor is a little tired in some areas but the staff are nice and friendly and breakfast is excellent
Room was very cold on arrival, very musty smell throughout the whole building, carpet in the bathroom which seems unhygienic, lots of dead spiders in the window and the room itself wasn't very clean. When I wanted to complain there was nobody around so ended up leaving the key at the desk and driving home
Stayed at Donington Manor as a base to attend Download festival and as such the hotel is in a great location, a 20 to 30 minute walk to the arena or a £5 Uber. The staff were very polite & helpful and and the room was very spacious.
Unfortunately due to the festival the price was 5 times higher than normal and as such when you are paying over £300 a night expectations will naturally be higher.
The room was dated and tired with damp and mould, we had to share the room with an army of spiders and moths, paint was peeling from the walls and ceiling in the bathroom and the shower was grubby with no pressure and only useable by anyone under 5 foot. The breakfast when it arrived was very tasty however as the hotel was full due to the festival it took 2 hours to be served on one day and my partner didn’t even get hers on the other day.
Hotel needs updating and to be better prepared for an annual event that they are happily charging for.
Just back from a great weekend. We were staying as at motorbike racing . We were made very welcome nothing was to much trouble.

The people were friendly, the food was very good, plenty of free parking. The hotel itself was fine, although our room in the courtyard was rather tired and could do with a makeover and it was impossible to get WiFi in that room. Very conveniently situated for Donington Park race circuit.
