Enjoy the beauty of creekside camping without bringing your own camper. Happy Camper is our furnished 32-foot retreat in Del Rio, Tennessee, near Hot Springs, NC, the Appalachian Trail and Smoky Mountain adventures. Spend the day exploring, relax beside your own fire pit, or settle inside for a cozy evening and a movie.
Happy Camper accommodates two overnight guests. The separate bedroom has one queen bed with a 10-inch memory-foam mattress, fresh linens, an electric blanket, quilt and extra blanket. The queen bed is the only sleeping space offered. You'll also have a comfortable living area, electric fireplace, large-screen Smart TV, free Wi-Fi, dining table, books, and ceiling and portable fans.
The kitchen includes a refrigerator/freezer, working LP stovetop, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, hot and cold running water, dishes, silverware, pots, pans and basic cooking supplies. The oven is not currently functional.
Your private shower, sink and vanity are inside the camper, with hot water and fresh towels provided. There is no toilet inside Happy Camper. Guests use the shared campground porta-potty a short walk away.
The electric fireplace warms the living room, kitchen and dining area; the bedroom has an electric blanket and extra bedding. The LP furnace is not available for guest use. Air conditioning is maintained at 75°F. Please keep doors and windows closed while heating or cooling is running and turn the fireplace off when leaving.
The LP water heater uses one switch. Turn it on approximately 20–30 minutes before you need hot water and turn it off when finished. The camper's instruction book identifies the correct switch.
Outside, enjoy your creekside fire pit, grill, picnic table with umbrella, outdoor seating and creek access. Parking is immediately beside the camper, and no four-wheel drive is required.
One pet is welcome with a $15 fee. Pets must be leashed outdoors, cleaned up after and securely crated when left unattended inside the camper.
There is no standard cleaning fee. Before checkout, please return clean kitchenware to its proper place, tidy the coffee maker, sink and floors, and fold blankets. Leave used towels on the vanity and bagged trash in the shower. Turn off the hot water and fireplace, leave the key on the counter and text OUT when departing. There is no need to lock up.
Check-in begins at 3 PM Eastern; please plan to arrive before dark. After-dark arrival requires advance arrangements and a $15 fee. Checkout is 11 AM Eastern. Late checkout may be available by prior arrangement. Send your estimated arrival time and text IN once settled.
Save your directions and campground map before traveling because cell service is very limited. Wi-Fi is included. Quiet hours are 9 PM–9 AM. We are a small rural campground, so other guests and normal country sounds may be nearby. Occasional brief daytime chainsaw noise may be heard while we finish clearing wood from a previously removed tree.
Come be a Happy Camper at Creekside Stayz.
