Room was comfortable, but I only used it to shower and sleep. The furniture needed cleaning and a chair at the desk needed refurbishing, as the "leather" was peeling. The breakfast lacked variety and fresh fruit. The desk attendant was friendly and smiling and made me aware of eating establishments in the area. He was very helpful.

They put a $200 hold that they said I would get back in 3 to 5 days, on top of the room rate. The hotel was not clean, we booked a handicap room with roll in shower, we did not get that, when I asked why we did not get that room I was told they had 2 rooms like that and they were already booked, we were the only car parked in the handicap parking so I don’t think there was anybody there that was handicap. I think they lied. The was supposed to be a queen size. We got a full size. We managed they did have a handicap seat in the bathtub. The room was not cleaned very well. Bathroom had 3 bars of soap used, and a used wash rag hanging over the shower curtain. Floor was not clean very well also. We will NOT be back!!

Told staff to want changing channels... Nothing was done about it. It was just blown off. I saw cleaning staff sitting in a room doing nothing. I arrived late Saturday night and checked out Tuesday with zero turn down service. Bed was comfortable.

I spent 3 nights in a 3rd-floor room here and was generally pleased. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The kitchen nook was a plus although the freezer badly needed defrosting. Everything was clean and worked, although the desk chair was surprisingly beat-up looking. Free breakfast was better than most. Parking was easy and the location convenient, in Decatur's southern burbs. Staff was pleasant but street noise was audible in my room despite being on the top floor. Regardless, if I were returning to the area I'd stay here again.

I strongly do not recommend staying at this property. Missing or non-working amenities, furniture is horribly worn and needs replacement, second room had a bad odor, housekeeping does not properly clean as items were left from previous guest with spills on table, and a bad leak coming from somewhere… and the floor was as soaked. After being moved to a second room and it being inhabitable, we decided to find a new hotel… instead of risking a third room. This all happened within a few hours and hotel refused to refund as we would have had to request it within the first hour. Ridiculous. Find a different hotel. Worst place I have ever stayed.

Didnt get the room we booked , the sofa bed was disgustingly dirty, bed wasn't that comfortable, phone didnt work , shower rod was on its last legand had loose tiles in bathroom. Its like they say pay cheap expect cheap.

I was charged $200 at check-in when the room was paid in full online via Expedia. When I asked if this was a security deposit, I was told my card would be charged for four days and released. It’s been a week with no free reversal and no one answering the phone. Why not put a pending hold like every other hotel.

Decatur Stay

The hotel was ok, but the room definitely needed a bit of attention. The little bitty fridge in the room had broken pieces and froze everything in the fridge and freezer, which ruined a diabetic med that i was to take Monday morning. The air conditioner was incredibly loud all night, and the bed was really hard, even for my husband who enjoys a firm mattress. We did like the hot breakfast and the staff was great!
