The front desk was moody and not very approachable. We added on two nights and both times it was completely uncomfortable dealing with front desk. We were there three nights and didn’t get clean towels throughout the stay. No housekeeping what so ever. The price was higher than usual and service was not good. Dryer was out of commission as well. Only hotel to charge for our service dog staying $28 a night non refundable

1st room was NOT good. Bedding was old & stained with a few dead bugs inside the sheets and bedspread so we asked to be moved since our room was nonrefundable and we had paid for 4 nights. The nice gentleman who worked there not only moved us but upgraded us and in the 2nd room we found no bugs although the bedding still looked old with stains, luckily for us I had brought our own mattress cover, sheets, comforter & pillows from home so we used our own. The room itself appeared fairly clean, towels were white with no stains, AC & Microwave worked well. We didn’t use the coffee maker or stove top. The balcony gave a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. The pool area was beautiful and appeared to have been recently re-done. We had no issue with parking during Thanksgiving weekend & checkout was easy. Our $100 deposit was back on our card within 3 days as promised. My recommendation to the management/owners: Throw away all bedding and buy new bedding that’s not all stained, encase your mattresses in zippered covers to protect from stains & bugs & hire a professional pest control. With these few changes your complaints & bad reviews would go down drastically & you’d have return customers. What I learned: ONLY BUY REFUNDABLE ROOMS & READ GOOGLE REVIEWS because they’re most accurate. I read reviews that were mediocre but I expected that for a lower priced hotel. The day after my Dtr asked if I read Goggle reviews so I did & regretted my purchase immediately.

The motel was dirty, there was bugs in the room, there were bikers in the parking lot doing drugs, drinking and fighting. There were BURN marks around the power outlets. We felt extremely unsafe and left after one hour and stayed at another motel for the weekend

I knew it was an older motel and I know pictures can be deceiving. So I went in with an open mind. However, there is literally no parking. Our room was extremely outdated and smelled like mold. The smell was so bad that I went and got air freshener spray and an air freshener. It was very hard for me to breathe and I don’t even have asthma or anything.The door was very hard to open and close. Front desk was very kind and helpful. The pool and beach access area was nice. However, the steps going into the pool had no railing. We chose to eat dinner outside at the pool area since I couldn’t breathe in the room. It looked like the rooms that face the beach and pool area are updated And probably more enjoyable to stay in. It is safe to stay here, but I would only stay if it was like one night just to get some sleep. It wouldn’t be an ideal vacation motel for an extended stay.

Very limited parking, was told to park across the street in public paid parking. Office staff seemed like they didn’t want to be bothered each visit. Each bed only had 2 very uncomfortable pillows. Building/balconies need deep cleaning. All doors, front and balcony very loud when closing. Overall good stay for price, with better upkeep could be very nice stay. Easy access to beach from hotel but very crowded with beach parking in front of hotel. Additional $28 fee per pet upon check in.
