Experience beach front living at its finest in this 5-bedroom house with private steps to the sand. This home is in the private, gated community of Beach Road where swimming, surfing, body boarding and playing in the sand are all just actual steps away. This is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and make amazing memories!

This home/community is conveniently located close to lots of restaurants, shopping, hiking trails and the Dana Point Harbor. It is perfect for day trips to San Diego Zoo, Mission San Juan Capistrano, and Disneyland. See below for details regarding the space.


Bedroom 1-Primary bedroom with a king, private bathroom, and access to the wrap around balcony


Bedroom 2- On the 2nd story with a king, work station, and access to the wrap around balcony

The garage has room for one vehicle as well as a exercise weights, bikes, skateboards, and even a 4 person family bike!

What you should know:

Only 2 vehicles are allowed within the gates at any point, whether you have other guests just visiting for the day or staying overnight as well as a 12 guest max. Additional vehicles can park outside of the gates and walk or be shuttled in. If renting for more than 30 days, additional vehicles can park within the gates

Amtrack runs along the active railroad track on the opposite side of Beach Rd & Pacific Coast Hwy. There will be train noise periodically.

Guest access

Guests will have access to the entire home as well as the garage and the sandy area directly in front of the patio. We ask that guests be respectful of our neighbors and not to impede on their sandy area or use their furniture/beach toys. Guests are welcome to walk down the stairs to the ocean and walk the length of the community on the beach.

Other things to note

Beach Road is a quiet, family oriented community. There are no events and we kindly ask that guests are respectful of all of our neighbors in regards to noise and their property. Oversized vehicles such as RVs, Trailers, Buses, etc are not permitted within the community.

*This property is NOT considered a Luxury property and is a comfortable beach front location priced accordingly. Beach Front properties face harsh conditions daily from the salt air and sand, please make sure you are comfortable with this prior to booking.

Amazing location

This was an amazing location and a really well equipped house. Everything we needed was there, and we enjoyed the property immensely. Host's interaction was easy and minimal. The parking and access situation is complicated and unique but made sense after we arrived and talked with the guards. Would have appreciated more advance notice of these details, as well as location. 6 hours notice was difficult for us to coordinate everyone given everyone was driving or flying in.

We reserved this house months ago for a busy weekend of graduation ceremonies at Chapman and University of San Diego. We arrived late Friday night, then had to drive down to SD early Saturday, so we were gone all day - I didn't get a chance to really check out the house until Sunday morning. The listing doesn't say this - but it is very close to railroad tracks and trains are loud. Good to be aware! Definitely made sleeping tough for the rooms that faced the road and the tracks. Check in was smooth, the parking is good, the access to the beach and the decks/patios/seating are great. However, the house is in poor shape. Lots of loose fixtures, loose door knobs, lights not working, stained carpets, sandy floor in the laundry room, one outlet in the master started smoking when I used my hairdryer (they are not GFI and they should be, so close to the sink), disorganized supplies in the closets, etc. The twin bed in my daughter's room had a panel that kept falling off every time she moved. The bunk beds in the lower room were very shaky and creaky. Just generally everything in this house needs maintenance and cleaning. The walls are scuffed, the linens are just thrown in the cupboard. I opened a hall closet to look for an ironing board and it was a mess in there. I never found an ironing board but there was an iron. Tough to have one without the other and we needed nice clothes for events. Overall very disappointed and we won't return.
