The cottage overlooks the Conche des Oisiliers (a small private waterway) and features an awning to keep it cool. It is close to the Sèvre Niortaise river and the Damvix boat landing. This single-story house comprises a living/dining/kitchen area (with a wood-burning stove), a shower room/WC, and two bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed and the other with two single beds). Wi-Fi and smart TV are provided. Outside, there is a private terrace overlooking the Conche des Oisiliers (garden furniture, deck chairs, barbecue) and an adjoining shaded garden. Shared facilities with the other cottage include a pétanque court and parking. Rowboat, canoes, and pedal boat available free of charge at any time (2 rowboats, 2 canoes, 1 pedal boat), with life jackets and maps. Fishing on site. Shops on site (bakery, mini-market, butcher, honey shop, pharmacy, doctor). Small market on Wednesdays. Public swimming pool open summer afternoons in Benet (13 km). Lake Xanton-Chassenon 19 km away.
