House was good, I had to reach out to the host to get the check in information. Easy to find and great location to everything without being too close. It had a few small areas that could have used a little more cleaning, like stains on the comforters and some dirt and grass here and there. There was also no fans in any of the room, the AC and heat runs well though, however the house definitely has a little bit of a moisture issue. But it met our needs for a one night landing pad for the weekend.

The house looked great. It was very clean. The biggest downside was the air conditioning. The air conditioner was incapable of keeping up with the heat outside. We had the AC set to 70 degrees, but it was 82 degrees in the house. The AC was running, it just couldn't keep up.

Short stay in Bedford

The property interior decor was modern and beautiful. The home was neat and clean. Very appealing to the eye. However, I was greatly disappointed of the outside. There was absolutely no curb appeal both front and back. The grass needed to be cut. The walkways needed to be swept down for cobwebs in the backyard. Absolutely no landscaping. The listing invited me to a barbecue grill. I refused to open the back door afraid of the cobwebs and not knowing what was lining back there. My granddaughter could not play in the yard. Luckily my family live in town and she stayed there to play. Lastly the home needs something to freshen the air. It smells as if no one lived there for sometime. It needs to air out. The listing state onsite parking with garage. Although that was not important to me, the garage is not accessible. But you can nicely park at least 3 to 4 cars in the driveway. Lastly it’s listed for 12 people. I don’t see how. 3 bedrooms. Each room has one bed for 2 people to sleep. I did not see where the living room furniture turned into a bed. Overall my stay was peaceful. I enjoyed my stay in Bedford. I regret I didn’t get pics.

What we needed

Overall, the property was adequate. We were in town for a family event, so we just needed a play to stay close to the venue in Colleyville. The property sufficed. However, it didn’t have the cleanliness we expected and the grass was high, causing it to appear unkept. But, the rooms were comfortable and the AC worked beautifully and the showers were nice. Unfortunately, it was hard to tell if the dishes and towels were clean. We winded up cleaning and dishes before we used them and selected towels that seemed fine. We also were never able to connect to the WiFi, but the overall cell signal was good so we didn’t even need it. The host, however, was extremely timely in all communication and very helpful!
