The place to stay in Dakar! Get a sea view and prepare if it’s cold out, because no indoor restaurants, but I loved this place. Book a driver from there to and from airport (45 minutes, wayyyyyyy longer in traffic). If you desire some comfort as I do as a 65 year old world traveler….Stay here!

The rooms are spacious, but the furniture is old and lacks any real personality. The staff is efficient, yet not particularly attentive to guests, and the information provided was minimal — for example, I was not told that the hotel is connected to a shopping mall. The food was also disappointing. I ordered a rare filet, but it was served completely overcooked and extremely tough. On the positive side, the location is very good, the hotel has a nice pool with bar service, and I was able to book a very pleasant tour through the hotel at a fair price.

Great place.

We had a great stay at this place. The room was outstanding with a very large amount of fruit, coffee, water available. On check out was slow and a little confusing on payments - yet the staff are really patient and understanding. Great stay.
