Lovely hotel in a quiet neighborhood but 10-15 mins walk to the downtown action. Room was cute and cozy, with a great view on the river and sunset, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! And the staff was very attentive and kind.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The lobby, our room, the bathroom - were artfully decorated. It is located a bit away from the busy town, which makes it a nice refuge from all the noise and activities in Hoi An. We were not as impressed with the staff at the hotel, however. The main manager was rude to us during check-in, and the rest of the staff were almost not present. We almost felt like we were intruding on them by staying there. The breakfast buffet was just OK - a lot of the food seemed like it was restaurant leftovers from the day before. Overall we had a nice stay and the hotel has lots of potential, but there are likely more friendly properties to choose from in Hoi An.

This is a very pretty hotel. The decor and the all of the art was very nice. Our bed was a little hard for me and the shower took ages to heat up. The pool area is nice and shady but some of the tiles were coming loose on the floor of it. The breakfast was average. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great little massage place next to it called Miaa beauty that I would go back to again.

Ok for this price

The hotel is 15 min walk from Hoi An ancient town center which was the main reason we choose to stay here. There is a humidity and mold issue at the hotel. Our room was smelling mold but we didnt bother informing the reception since we were staying only 1 night. It is not as seen as is photos a bit more tackier but in the end its a small cute locally managed place. Having free bikes was useful. Breakfast was average. Staff was kind and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Son Hoi An Boutique Hotel. There was a minor issue with our booking at check (occurring from an issue at Expedia’s end). Staff were able to resolve this for us and ensured it did not negatively impact our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, and we loved the attention to style and detail. The staff were friendly and helpful and the free shuttle bus to the beach was a great bonus. Would highly recommend and would stay again!

Comfort and design

Situated 7-8 minutes walk from the centre of Hoi An is perfect . The hotel is cosy and the rooms are large and well equiped. Like other boutique hotels comfort and design are at the fore front. I would stay here again.

Walkable to the ancient town and very clean hotel. Service was good and all around a positive experience. Hotel is located in an alleyway which is slightly dirty, but still safe.

Beautiful property within walking distance (easy 10-15 minute leisurely stroll) to Hoi An old town. Hotel offers a shuttle but the shuttle can’t get in the old town (for obvious reasons) so you still need to walk a little to get to town. Staff were very attentive and polite. Hotel has lots of beautiful colours and is furnished impressively. Breakfast was good too! The hotel has a common area used for ironing where you can find 2 weak irons and 2 ironing boards but maybe they can start allowing irons in the rooms in the future. Nonetheless I had an amazing stay at the hotel.
