Warning to all booking on Hotels.com

I didn't actually stay at this hotel. I booked as usual through Hotels.com, and my booking was accepted. I was due to stay 3 nights. However, when I arrived, the boy there refused to give me a room. Through googly translate he told me that they did not take bookings through Hotels.com any more. When I told him that I had already paid, he shrugged and didn't care. I had to pay more at another hotel, as there were not many rooms still available in the hotel city. Hotels.com refunded me, but I would advise caution to all looking at this hotel. It may be very nice, but I didn't get the opportunity to stay and see.

When I got to the hotel the guy insisted of charging me, I showed him the confirmation we’re it indicated it was paid, and he continued asking for the money. So I left, didn’t check in and found an other place to stay the night
