"It was a short one-night visit to Lexington where we have been before. The room was spacious but was still being remodeled so the bath fixture was not completely installed and paint spots on the floor in bathroom. Otherwise, it was a very spacious and quiet room. There was a convention of sorts going on, so the parking lot was full. Many roads around Lexington were under construction and we did get a piece of metal in our tire, but fortunately there was a Mercedes dealership in the area to handle our misfortune in a timely manner as there was a major storm coming and we were trying to get ahead of it on our way to Asheville, NC. The staff were very helpful in providing restaurant advice and access to the interstate. The updated interior is very cheerful and clean."

"When booking online, they always seem to use the best pictures,so sometimes you never know if the look is factual or not. I was so highly impressed with everything. The room was large and roomy. Two queen beds. Rest room off to the side. Came with a microwave and small fridge. This helped immensely. I was able to buy some food across the street at Walmart for the 5 days I was there. From check in to the staff,everyone was absolutely friendly. Pool was small, and indoors, perfect. Centrally located to all our adventures in KY and OH. Served standard breakfast fair, bagels, toast, muffins and options of cereal. They had sauage gravy and biscuits with eggs. Food was okay and edible. Im just particular about my food. My travels partners loved the breakfast. I was highly impressed with everything, room, hotel itself. Parking was easy. Hotels soaps and conditioners were large and plentiful. My only thought is the showers need something on the bottom of the tubs for slipperiness. And freezer needs thawed out occasionally. I would highly highly recommend Guesthouse at Lexington."
