There are not enough adequate words to describe our incredible stay at Las Casas!! we were a group of parents, traveling to Cuernavaca for the first time. None of us were familiar with the area… HOWEVER, Las Casas went above and beyond to make sure we had outstanding drivers too and from the airport. Rest assured, we were delivered safely. The hotel is incredibly charming and quiet. The staff knocked our socks off! They took beautiful care of us the entire week we were there. If we needed something, they didn’t hesitate to fill that need. Every member of the staff was friendly and caring. Our rooms were kept beautifully clean each day as were the grounds of our hotel. The on-site restaurant delivered meals we could only dream about. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The place looks great in photos, much different IRL. It's old, they had no hot water, the toilet broke within an hour, they had music playing and projected music videos on a wall visible from our room until well past 1:00 am. We paid for 3 nights in advance, one hour after arriving we had a family emergency and had to return to the US, they would not refund any of our money, and would not even let us use the credits from the nights we were not able to use to pay for food or drinks.

Once inside, the property was very cozy pleasant surroundings with great service from all staff members. Breakfast selection was also great. The closed street where the property entrance was located didn't feel safe. It was OK during the day, but not in the evening.

The sink was clogged and was not fixed. The tub would not hold water. There was no fridge or kitchen in the suite. A few things didn’t work. And I paid almost $400 for 1 night. I will not be going back and if I could get a refund that would be great.

The hotel is a beautiful old mansion nicely decorated. It is conveniently located close to all main attractions, walking distance. Has valet parking to facilitate move around when needed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Outstanding service and food in charming hotel!

First the restaurant: Excellent, amazing, delicious! The food is outstanding! The breakfast which was included is fabulous! It includes coffee, juice, fruit, fresh bread, and then the main course! The hotel is very small and intimate. The pool is heated and we had two days swimming during new year's. Plus the weather was 80 F. The rooms are very comfortable and the decor is beautiful, black and white with use of mirrors and black metal. It is an oasis in downtown cuernavaca. Downtown is not very beautiful, we expected better, but the hotel certainly made up for it. The service was outstanding. They even opened the restaurant 1 hour earlier to serve us breakfast before our early departure. Really outstanding service!
