Great place to say. Super affordable for being so close to the National Park. The room was comfortable and clean. The grounds are awesome and there are good views of the lake. Such a GREAT place with lovely people running it. We loved the hot tub and spa pool. That was such a plus especially being able to watch the birds over the pond nearby. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for the meals we made. They turned the heater on for us before we got there and it was so helpful!

We had an incredible stay in Gilchrist, OR — truly a hidden gem! The property offered fantastic outdoor amenities like kayaking, core boards, yard games, bags, and a great patio for grilling and relaxing. The owners, descendants of the family that originally built the town and its mill, were exceptionally hospitable and friendly. It was refreshing to support a locally owned business in an age where so much has gone corporate. Some next-level upgrades to the property really stood out, and our accommodations were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious — perfect for our stop on the way to Crater Lake. Excellent value and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Historic lakefront property.

This charming lakefront resort is in a quaint town. The best thing about it was meeting the owners. They gave us a tour of the property and shared the story behind the resort. The cabins are cute, rustic and have everything you need. Make sure and bring your own food though because there aren’t stores nearby. They do provide tea and coffee, and a kitchen stocked with dishes, utensils, cups, etc. Our room had wifi, a nice big television and an electric fireplace. We could park right at our front door. There’s a nice patio with seating in the back.
