The Space:
This riverfront log cabin sleeps 10 guests across 4 bedrooms and a bonus studio. The main floor has an open living room with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, tall windows overlooking the forest, and a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a Keurig and drip coffee maker, stone countertops, and an island with seating for four. The dining table seats eight.
Bedroom 1 has a queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, balcony access, and an ensuite bathroom with a pedestal sink and walk-in shower. Bedroom 3 has a king bed, balcony access, and an ensuite bathroom with a single vanity and walk-in shower. 🏔️ Bedroom 4 is a private studio above the garage with a queen bed, queen sleeper sofa, its own Keurig, and an ensuite bathroom with a pedestal sink and walk-in shower.
There's also a full guest bathroom with a single vanity and walk-in shower. The home has a washer and dryer in-unit, WiFi, and parking for 4 vehicles. Two upstairs balconies offer forest views, and the downstairs deck has outdoor dining and a grill.
🔥 Down by the river, you'll find a firepit and picnic table for stargazing and s'mores. The property has direct river access for tubing, fishing, and floating. In winter, enjoy easy access to Mt. Bachelor and snowmobiling; in summer, float the river from upstream back to the cabin or explore nearby alpine lakes and hiking trails. Wildlife is abundant, with frequent sightings of deer, wild turkeys, birds, and river otters. No hunting or shooting allowed on the property.

Check-in instructions will be provided prior to arrival. Parking is available for 4 vehicles in the driveway. AWD or 4WD is required during winter months due to snow and ice. The studio above the garage is accessed separately from the main house.
The cabin is located in La Pine, tucked into the Ponderosa and Aspen forest along the Little Deschutes River. You're just minutes from the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway, a 20-minute drive to Sunriver Village with dining and shops, and about 30 minutes to downtown Bend. Bend offers the Bend Ale Trail, Deschutes Brewery, the High Desert Museum, and access to Pilot Butte for hiking. Mt. Bachelor ski resort is roughly 45 minutes away for winter skiing and summer mountain biking. The Newberry National Volcanic Monument and Lava River Cave are a short drive south. Cascade Lakes, including Elk Lake and Hosmer Lake, are west along the scenic byway and offer boating, fishing, and paddling. In town, you'll find grocery stores and restaurants within a 10-minute drive in La Pine.
Getting Around:
The cabin is accessed via Highway 97, about 30 miles south of Bend. From Bend, take Highway 97 south to La Pine, then follow local roads to the property. It's approximately a 30-minute drive to downtown Bend, 20 minutes to Sunriver, and 45 minutes to Mt. Bachelor. The Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway is just minutes away and connects you to alpine lakes, trailheads, and mountain recreation. PDX airport in Portland is about 3 hours north via Highway 97 and I-84.
