The madame was a wonderful, helpful, kind woman. The house is magnificent with a long garden out the back door with flowering fruit trees and trained trees along a stone wall. There is not much of a town but it's close to Bayeux and the beaches of Normandy. It's beautiful countryside. The breakfast is a good petite dejeuner.

Our quarters were great! Annemarie was truly a great host and made our stay exceptional. The room was clean and had a wonderful, cozy French charm that made us feel right at home. The house is impressive and beautiful, it is nicely decorated with antiques, the breakfast was very good, and the host is very friendly. Yet there are some issues: the internet connection is awful, the shower didn’t drain, the beds are not comfortable, and the room was not heated sufficiently.

A perfectly wonderful place to stay - peaceful, beautiful and lovingly maintained, from the gardens to interior decorating with period pieces. This house is magical. AnnMarie goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, from homemade jams to fresh bread and cheeses for breakfast to assisting with local reservations. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed, and if ever in France again, this is where we will return.
