The Jim Smith Lake house was a perfect spot to have a peaceful, beautiful place to enjoy your family and British Columbia. Lake views from deck and cozy corners when you want shade and a comfortable place to watch your kids and grandkids enjoy paddle boarding and swimming. Facilities for cooking and barbecues, large refrigerator. Comfortable beds and furniture, lots of pillows, I wish we could have stayed longer.

Hidden Gem

Had no idea this lake even existed. It is small - no motor crafts but lots of kayaking and canoeing. The house had lots and lots of space, and was very kid friendly! It is a five minute car ride to the beach which is awesome!! Overall, a fantastic stay!

Relaxing Getaway

Such a beautiful view! It was the perfect spot for our quiet family getaway. The place itself is cozy, had everything we needed (and more bonuses we loved), with many different areas of the house to sit and relax and enjoy the view. This is also a great home base to explore the surrounding area, which the host provides a great guide of activities and places to check out. The host was so good at communicating with any questions we had and accommodating our requests. We will definitely be back, except this time we will book a longer stay!

Best Ever!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Ambers lake house. We didn’t want to go back home. So many wonderful memories we have made here. S’mores by the fire. Hot tub relaxing, paddle boarding, and the list goes on. Absolutely loved all the room in the house and the beds were super comfortable. You can tell Amber and her husband have put in a lot of work into their lake house. We hope to be back next year!
