When we first checked in, the woman was so sweet and kind! There is no elevator, and there is stairs everywhere. We were on the main floor and to get to our room there were a few stairs down, so we couldn't use the rolly cart to haul things to our rooms, and we had a lot of stuff. The entire establishment could use a major update. The smell of stale, old cigarette smoke still lingers. The shower in our room was very difficult to get to a good temperature, and to shut off. My kids struggled with it. In the pool area, there was tiles falling off and the hot tub was only barely warm. The listing states breakfast is included but they give you vouchers to go to the restaurant and it covers up to $16. On the adult menu, nothing was under $16, so either be prepared to not have a beverage or bring money. The food we had was very good! The waitress was also wonderful and patient. The hotel is extremely loud! There was loud music playing in the hallways. The train passed by what seemed like every 15 minutes, and it was unbelievably loud. None of us slept very well. Overall, their friendly staff is definitely their best asset. But I would not stay there again.

The clerk was rude, the free breakfast was a bag breakfast with a soggy/slimly plain egg burrito thing with a bruised old apple a granola bar, yogurt and a juice box. The restaurant was closed and we were not told when we checked in. The stairs going down the “main” floor smelled like a sewer. There was a smoke alarm that was chirping all day all night for 2 days and we could hear in our room. The “hot” tub wasn’t hot. The place looked dirty as we walked in. Definitely would never stay here again! I would rather sleep in a car than this place.

Room was clean but very basic which is in line with the price. Hot tub was broken and only lukewarm. The water was green in the hot tub. To be fair the ad only mentions a whirlpool and doesn't say the water would be hot. Still a little disappointing.

We have stayed at this property many times. It needs so me remodeling but it was always clean and the staff was good. This time, it was still clean, the room had been slightly updated but the staff was not knowledgeable and there wasn’t good communication between staff. I was sent in the wrong direction for my second floor room and the comment was, oh it is that way?. Secondly, we had planned to eat in the hotel pub and was told by reception that there was a private party but we could still eat there. My husband went and spoke to a server who told us yes we could eat there but come at 5:00pm and we can only order from the sandwich menu. We went at 5:00, a server told us to pick a table that did not have a reserve sign and she would bring us a menu. We sat down and a few minutes later another server came out and said they were at capacity and “ we had to leave”. No apologies. It should have started at reception that there was a private event and not available for drop ins. Two people told us yes we could eat there in two separate areas, reception and a server. On another small point, the vouchers for breakfast should have the time range for breakfast. We will ppropably stay another time because of the convenience for our trip but I hope there will be more knowledgeable staff and communication.
