They are working on the hotel and the renovated rooms look great. However no AC except in rooms, lots of mosquitoes, and our room was disappointing. All of the employees were very nice and it was very clean.
Elevator could only fit 3-4 people max

We enjoyed our five night stay at Hotel Plaza Cozumel. We really enjoyed the pool and towels were available from the front desk. The breakfast was tasty and the staff quickly remembered who we were. We really appreciated the air conditioning in the hot July heat.

We loved that in this season the pool was warm, the area was well tended and the atmosphere calm and welcoming. The staff was helpful and always courteous and friendly. We also loved the breakfasts!!! And the beds were super comfy! We'll be back.

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

The location was extremely convenient. There were many restaurants within an easy walking distance. The hotel and rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable. And the bathroom was nice and the towels were generous. There was also a a lovely & delicious breakfast included. I would highly recommend Hotel Plaza Cozumel and will return.

Centrally located. Very clean. Cold AC. Great hot breakfast. Extremely attentive staff. This is my second time in the last year at this hotel, and the hotel was perfect for me just like the first time. Our friend Group had four rooms booked, and everybody is as satisfied as me.

The location was perfect. Walking distance from the ferry terminal and a couple of rent car companies. The staff were kind and the breakfast and rooftop pool were very nice. The night club in front of the hotel was a little noisy, but not a serious problem.

Simple clean comfortable rooms; easy walk from the ferry, restaurants, and shops; free breakfast; there’s a bakery next door and a drug store on the corner. Taxi stand down the block. Bar soap and small shampoo bottles provided but no conditioner. The windows have regular curtains not blackout, so if city lights bother you bring an eye mask to sleep. Go watch the sunset from the great bar / restaurant down the block called Aqui + Ahora. Or you can watch the sunset from the rooftop pool at this hotel. The pool is fantastic - clean and well-maintained with beautiful views and lots of seating. Overall very happy with this hotel.

Great location downtown near the square and waterfront. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. The front desk people helped us with all our questions and needs. GREAT free breakfast with fresh fruit and bread and made to order hot food. A bakery is 10 steps next door and we smelled wonderful fresh bread all the time!

Love this place

Awesome breakfast, VERY friendly front desk staff, VERY safe and an amazing location! Ive stayed here several times as well as other hotels on the island and this is by far my favorite place to stay!
