The Cozumel Hotel and Resort was an incredible place to stay for myself and my family. We reserved two standard rooms with a pool view. What we loved: The staff were accommodating and went above and beyond to provide activities and entertainment, hourly. Evening shows were spectacular! The pool is heated, and the indoor and outdoor spaces are aesthetically pleasing. Our favorite part about the room was a hammock by the sliding glass door, which provided beautiful access to the patio and views of the pool. There is no beach, but there is a beautiful sandy area and the ocean is easily accessible with instant snorkel opportunities right off the shore. Not to mention, the hotel has complimentary snorkel gear for the whole family. What we thought was just OK: The food kept us fed, but after a full week of eating there, the selection felt limited. We absolutely loved all the servers and chefs, though. What we didn't enjoy at all: The bathrooms had layers of paint and mold. The showers and toilets weren't the best to say the least. The smell of mildew deep in the halls was almost unbearable at times. If you're looking for affordability, The Cozumel experience, safety and fun, along with the all inclusive package, this hotel is absolutely a great option.

Loved the atmosphere, the pool, the reef just outside the hotel, the beach, the setup, the shower water pressure, comfy AC, the beds, the friendly staff. What could improve? Throw some bacon into the breakfast buffet! But, even without, you still get 5 stars from our family.

Staff and service was excellent, food was fine, summer rates made the hotel a great value but room are long in the tooth, no longer any dresser or table but a fridge and wifi was terrible outside the lobby while it has always been great in the rooms over past years. Very diver friendly hotel pier for pickup by independent providers.

Dive excursion

This hotel is consistently clean with helpful, friendly staff. The outdoor pool is huge! It’s close enough to walk in to town or a short cab ride. Nice to get picked up for diving I. The dock and breakfast starts at 7 to allow you time to grab some food if you want before diving.

Huge pool, cut little beach club. Although the hotel.was not very full they still made me wait in the lobby until exactly 3:00 tocheck in, which is not gracious of them.Also had to ASK fordirectoons to my roo.. Breakfast is good, lunch and dinner buffets not so wonderful. Wait staff and bar tenders were excellent . Nice dive facilities, good snorkling right off shore on a mini wall- Rooms are clean. Really, its just the food that needs to be imorpoved. Think Morrisons cafe with so seasonings. . .

this is the 5th time my family has stayed with this resort. Please, i highly recommend providing juice atleast but preferably coffee as early as 4am. To not provide any liquids for your customers and be told to go to 7/11 i do not feel is acceptable. Outside of this, we love this place.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The food was, without a doubt, one of our fave parts, always fresh, flavorful, and delicious at every meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spotless every single day. The snorkeling area was phenomenal and perfect for traveling with kids. A special thank you to Emir, the lifeguard, who was so kind and knowledgeable, making us feel safe and cared for. This place truly exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to go back!

This property is a bit older but is close to town and with on site dive shop so very convenient. No real options for meals but the do change it up and provide daily activities and night entertainment although not real big like over on the mainland. We felt very safe and found this a nice affordable option. We would consider staying here again. The coffee shop/store on site was great, Anna who ran the store was so welcoming and made amazing espresso and smoothies.
