Big Bear Chalet, modern home on Mount Washington

Brand new 3 story chalet with 2 master bedrooms. A one minute drive to ski lift, close to hiking and mountain biking.
Have fun in this stylish place with the whole family or a group of friends. Enjoy a coffee or glass of wine on the balcony overlooking Strathcona park.
The large kitchen is a chef's dream. Tons of counter space, an induction range, espresso machine, coffee maker, dishwasher, and fridge with ice maker. The large quartz island seats 4 and up to 8 at the dining room table. There is also a half bath on the top floor so you don’t have to keep running up and down the stairs.
Relax on the large U-shaped sectional after a long day on the slopes, with a Netflix movie on the 65" Tv.
If you need a little extra space from your travel companions, there is a lower level bonus room complete with air hockey, plenty of board games, and a second 65" TV. This space also contains a queen size pull-out couch. A warning, however, this space is partially finished and has exposed drains and ductwork that can be noisy.
Our chalet is family friendly with kids toys, books, dishes, high chair, baby monitor and pack n play for your little ones. The second level has 4 bedrooms. 2 are masters with ensuites, a third queen room, and a bunk room and a third bathroom. The master bedroom at the front of the chalet has a daybed and a bonus kitchenette for extra storage or the couple who enjoys their coffee in bed. There's a private balcony or patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. A Smart television with Netflix is provided, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a desk and a microwave, and housekeeping is provided on request.

A comfortable, well maintained property. In the summer it was a perfect place to explore the surroundings with its trails, lakes, and an active chair lift to take us to the summit for views and more trails.

We had a great stay in this beautiful house. The kitchen was well equipped, all the beds were comfy, and the bonus room was great for the kids.The host was very very responsive to our sometimes -dumb questions.The location is beautiful. The heating system kept us cosy without being too warm or too cold. The electric fireplace was perfect for taking the chill off the living room. Overall we had a wonderful Family Weekend at Big Bear Chalet.
