"There is no aircon in the rooms. The windows provided no respite to the heat. ( it was only about 22 degrees outside) but felt like the central heating was turned on and was easily 40 degrees in the room. We noticed that keeping the bathroom door closed helped a little, we think there must be hot water pipes or underfloor heating that is not turned off. It made the evenings and returning to the rooms during the day extremely uncomfortable. Our youngest was physically sick on our last night and we had to leave a note for the cleaners! "

"This is a lovely hotel situated rightbis the main square of Gravelines. We used it as a transit stop before catching the Eurotunnel home. A great location. Nice restaurant closeby too (Le Citadel). Good breakfast in the hotel. The corridors could do with a coqt if paint in pkaces but the room was very clean and comfortable. We will definately return again."
