OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Neighborhood Update: Our neighbors across the street recently moved out, and their home is being prepared for new residents. It may look a bit quiet and abandoned right now, but it’s only temporary — thanks for understanding!
Wildlife Alert: Our cabin is surrounded by forest, so wildlife is part of the experience! Please be cautious if you see any wild life, especially bears. DO NOT FEED the bears.
To keep everyone safe (and protect the bears), please follow these guidelines:
• Do not leave any food outside (including snacks, coolers, or pet food)
• A quick wipe after use of the grill will helps keep the bears away. Ensure it is fully turned off
• Dispose of trash promptly in the outdoor bear-proof bins
• Keep doors and windows closed when not in use
• Do not approach, feed, or interact with wildlife
Even unintentionally leaving food out can attract bears. Once bears become used to human food, it can create dangerous situations and may result in the bear being removed from the area.
Our neighborhood is a small, close-knit community, and neighbors do help keep an eye on the area for safety. Any intentional feeding of wildlife or leaving food out may be reported.
We perform regular pest control maintenance to help minimize critter encounters but nature sometimes takes the lead.
Propane Grill: Turn off propane after use, let the grill cool, wipe any excess grease, and replace the cover when done.
Road Access: There are two access roads with a gradual incline. During winter, snow can make them challenging even with 4x4 or tire chains, and access may be temporarily limited. Please check local weather and road conditions before traveling.
No refunds: For events beyond our control (weather, power outages, wildlife, etc.), we highly recommend travel insurance for any unforeseen circumstances.
Access Codes to Property: Renter agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking, or prior to check-in for reservations made less than 48 hours before arrival to receive access codes.
