Everything was amazing! The location and the house itself. Perfect size for our group. Everyone had an awesome time and we enjoyed the accommodations. Kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of towels. Having access to a washer and dryer was a plus too - although we only needed the dryer. Would definitely book this home again!

Great spot!

Great property and very cozy. I would give 4.5 if I could. There were small deficiencies/inconveniences (kids tv didnt work, holes on ceiling in master bedroom etc) but the staff and maintenance crews were very on point and responsive. We would rent again next year if house is available.

Beach house- needs updates

My family and I stayed here and had a really nice time. There were no extra blankets though and no serving bowls for meals. Also the tile in the master bedroom and bathroom is loose/cracked and in need of repair. We had a large group and could have used more seating in the living room but we made it work. We really enjoyed the porch and the outdoor shower sprayer was great for spraying off sand. The beds were just ok, not super comfy. The house is definitely spacious though and gave our group plenty of room!

ALL of the pictures were crooked which was unsettling to me. The shower downstairs leaked fairly bad. The grills (both) were pretty nasty and needed a fair amount of cleaning before use. I don't believe the gas grill had gas - it wouldn't start. The bed in the downstairs bedroom sank in the middle and squeaked with every movement, it would be impossible for discreet intimacy. The location was great! Exactly 1 mile to the beach. A 20 min walk. The location was also great in relevance to town. Overall, it was a good trip.

Easy Peasy

Very nice and clean property. Communication was great. Easy clean up expectations. Only problem was not with the house but the frat boys across the street (but it was Spring Break). Email and listing said to bring extra TP and paper towels, but if you are like us bring extra laundry and dish soap too! Very pleasant experience. And again the house was very clean.

SandFest getaway

Upon arrival we had to double check the address as it didn’t look the same as the picture listed. It was freshly painted on the outside and looked great! The house itself was very functional and had everything we needed for our stay at Port A. I’d definitely recommend this to friends!

Comfortable but not fancy

The location and fundamentals of the house are sound. However, it is due for some upgrading. There were really nice toiletries in the baths, but the downstairs shower was cramped with a cracked shower pan. It would be nice if they could have a downstairs master suite, but I understand that would be a major remodel. My daughter enjoyed the big king size bed, upstairs, for herself, while my husband, with two knee replacements, and I stayed in the queen downstairs. The kitchen needs Maria Kondo to come in. There are so many coffee cups, but no salad bowels. There was one dish towel but nothing to clean the dishes with, unless you wanted to use the brush that looked as if it was used to clean the BBQ grill. We used paper towels. Luckily we brought our own. The yard was perfect for our dogs. They had plenty of shade, but spent most of their time on the porch. We had to drive to the beach, the access road was to far to walk to, especially with the dogs. This turned out fine as there were so few people on the beach and it was easy to get a spot. We needed a place that accepted dogs, so didn’t have a lot of options. I personally feel this rental is over priced, but it met our needs. We’d hoped more family would join us, but just the three of us really got to spread out and relax. We enjoyed our stay.

House was as presented, very comfortable, Not a complaint but there is only one city trash can and it was over filled and stacked beside, when we arrived, we set out for trash pick up, but when we left we also had it over filled and stacked. We have a property we lease also we have to keep 3 cans for a house with this many guest, House is great, note is more for the managment company. Would stay again

Great location

We loved the location just minutes away from the beach, the property was clean and just like the description. Dryer takes longer to dry clothes but that wasn’t a big deal for any of us staying there. We had no problems check in and out was easy. Our family will be booking again!
