The staff here were so accommodating! The beds were super comfy and the pool was open till 10:00 p.m. which was nice. The floor in the pool area needs to be redone, and some sort of ventilation or fans would be helpful in there. Breakfast was really good, lots of options. Iowa is famous for their spiders, but I didn't find even one in the room, I was impressed. I'd stay again

Pleasant and helpful staff throughout a 12-night stay on family business (funeral, etc.). Very good bed and linens, consistently good breakfast every day, clean bathroom and shower (more towel bars/hooks would be nice), quiet most of the time. Convenient parking. Public areas could be cleaner. A guest washer & drier would be nice, but there's a good 24-hour laundromat nearby. Pleased to see fire sprinklers everywhere, a safety feature every hotel & motel should have. Definitely a no-frills place, but it served our purpose well and we would stay there again.

The fire alarm box behind the front desk is covered in dried blood. Very unsanitary. As I entered my room it was very musty and stunk. I cut the air on and left for a few hours and it kinda helped. I was justb travelling through but would not stay here again if i were to come back.

The room was clean enough. Ohe bottle in the shower was empty. The phones did not seem to work as expected. I asked for a wake-up call but did not receive it. I called another room while they were there but the phone never rang. Staff was very nice.
