The location is perfect! Steps from the ferry, funicullar, church, everything! The bed is uncomfortable and bathroom is so poorly designed that we always had water on the floor after showers. The entrance is awkward. It is very noisy when other inhabitants move around.

Very large three person room. Outstanding location in the city center. Easy to walk to both train stations. Outstanding restaurant and bar options nearby and right by the lake. Yaiza Is an amazing hostess with perfect food, bar and travel recommendations. We loved Bar Hemingway (amazing bar and apps) and pizza at Donnarumma. Highly recommend Alessia’s Place!!

The room was clean and charming. Yaiza, who coordinated check-in, was fantastic — she was responsive and had excellent recommendations for food and things to do. Good location close to the lake and only 5-10 mins walk from San Giovanni train station (depending on how fast you walk). No view from Suite 8 to speak of but I wasn’t hanging out in my room much, other than to sleep. I would stay here again!
