Guest Favorite! Not a new listing but had to be reset! The Acorn Bungalow is a 1050 sq ft house located near Lakebottom Park in a quiet neighborhood. It's namesake being a huge oak tree sitting right in front of the residence. This is a wonderful newly remodeled residence that offers wifi, washer and dryer, a wonderful open kitchen, and a large back yard. Walking distance to Lakebottom Park, minutes from downtown Columbus, and only a 8 to 10 minute drive to Fort Benning depending on traffic!

I would definitely recommend this home and host to anyone visiting the area. When we arrived, I didn’t know how to work the electronic lock. I’ve never had the chance to use one. I messaged the host through the app and she called me right back to make sure we knew how to use it and to make sure we got in. The home was well cleaned and just as described online. The AC worked very well. The beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed being out in the front porch swing in the mornings before the Georgia heat took over. The host checked in to make sure we didn’t need anything extra which we didn’t.
Stayed 4 nights in May 2026
