Breakfast was not good, they ran out of hot food an hour before breakfast was over, the no stick spray for the waffles was water only so waffles stick to griddle, bagels were very hard no way they couldve been in date.

My experience at this hotel was very unpleasant, among the dirty sheet, in the bathroom the dirty bathtub with hair, garbage on the floor and the toilet full of vomit.

Room was absolutely disgusting. Stuff on walls and doors. Dusty. Bathroom has mold, hair and pee every where. Poop splash in toilet. Shower was slimy. Ac/ heat smelled moldy and full of dust. Sheets were smelly. Had to lay on our own blankets. We had to wipe off everything we touched.

We had to change rooms twice during a surprise proposal. Once because the room was ridiculously dirty & dark due to the lights not working and then the second time because the rooms door battery was broken. After I set the room up finally to propose to my wife we left to see the Christmas lights upon arrival back to the room at midnight, the door stopped working yet again. Not only this but, after asking the front desk clerk(T) (very nice btw) to open the room her key didn’t work either. She grabbed maintenance (D). He had the manual key to open the door, he walks me and my soon to be wife to the room. It’s a surprise, so my wife jokingly says since I can’t look, peek for me to the maintenance. I allow it, and he walks semi into the room and says a derogatory based joke while physically thrusting his hips, saying we’re about to get it on. I look at him and say thats inappropriate behavior and it’s not the time for that and to leave. Right before he leaves I quote, he says “youre making a mistake.” Almost ruining the surprise right before we get into the room as well as being quite disrespectful. I then go down to the front desk to speak to management for a well deserved apology and refund and their Manager (A) on the phone with the front desk, says he doesn’t have anything to do with it. The Maintenance whom verbally harassed us, denied all allegations and the manager took his side until, I inquired for the law to be involved unless given our request for a refund. Resolved.

The staff was amazing. I have no complaints with the staff. My issue was the condition of the rooms. The first room was not even cleaned and the beds were not made. It looked like someone just checked out. The rooms smelled, had bugs and a lot of water damage. This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. I immediately checked out and went to another hotel! I stay at a lot of Baymount hotels. This was not one of them. I cannot describe how bad this hotel was.

Non-smoking room stunk like an ash tray. No soap in the room. Blood stain on one towel. Door lock looked like it had recently been kicked in. Coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned—someone had poured already-brewed coffee into the water tank and it had been sitting there for who knows how long.

The sheets and towel sets need to be replaced with newer ones. The bathtub and bathroom sink were not clean. In addition, the air conditioner was on the lowest setting but it was not working properly so it was VERY humid in the room.
