The staff was all so friendly and welcoming. The facility and room was super clean. We had a studio room and there was everything we could have needed and more available. If you needed an extended stay with all the comforts of home, this is the place to be. We would definitely stay there again.

It is an older hotel but it is clean, needs some updating to carpeting, furniture, caulking in bathroom. Pool area not open as it is not season yet. They have exercise room. Small store where you can purchase items you may have forgotten. Overall area is restaurants, walmart, publix, and so forth. Staff very helpful and friendly." I picked this property for an annual weekend stay in Columbus GA, based on two things: 1) Is it economical, and 2) Is the property "pet friendly"? Answers: 1) YES. The room rate at Candlewood Suites was about half that of the competing Suites property that I have stayed at the last several years. I will book Candlewood Suites for my return trip to Columbus GA in June.
