Wonderful old hotel charm. Fantastic staff and great bar. Food in the Hotel Frederick was excellent. A truly fun place to stay whether for a long period stay or quick get-a-way.

Cool Historic Hotel Convenient to the Katy Trail

Arrived in Boonville after a morning on the Katy Trail and made our way from the trailhead to the hotel. We were a little early for the 4 pm check in so we went down the street for pizza a Breadeaux's, which was very good. We got back around 3:30 and were still able to check in early. Our room was spacious and well appointed. I was traveling with my son and the way the room was set up, we each had our own unique space or "room-within-the-room". The hotel had an ample storage room for bikes for the multitude of cyclists that were staying in the hotel and storage, and retrieval was a breeze. The staff was very friendly throughout the visit. Breakfast amounted to coffee and some fruit and snack bars so mixing my own protein shake in my mini blender in the room was my better option. The location right on the Missouri River was very scenic and very convenient to the bridge over the river to continue the ride along the Katy Trail.

Parking for hotel is an issue. Also, accessibility is difficult with a walker core probably impossible with a wheelchair. Restaurant is not open on the weekend nor was the bar.

Beautiful historic hotel very nicely renovated, updated cool and quirky. very comfortable. everything looked very well cared for including the lobby and hallways, what looked to be original doors and woodwork and stained glass. so beautiful. the bed and linens were great, and this might sound silly, but I appreciated that they weren't white towels. i asked, and the housekeeper showed us some of the other rooms. Which also looked amazing. stayed here while attending the Missouri state, fair, a little bit of a distance. But worth it

Its an amazing place to stay. Mixture of beautiful up to date rooms with all the old western charm in the public areas. Awesome restaurant main floor, speak easy basement bar. We will be back.
