Room had heating issues that could have been addressed prior to arrival had custodial staff reported it to management. Hotel under going major renovations which resulted in elevators out of service and loud concrete drilling noise hears throughout hotel between 9am and 6pm daily. Main open area was severely under heated which required guests to wear warmer/winter gear during happy hour and breakfast times.

Overall, stay was good. Our room had some carpet missing, and the furniture looked worn with some stains, but the staff was very kind and willing to accommodate however. They are working on a remodel which is needed.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Room was very clean and new carpet, lamps, mirrors, etc. Drawers for any of furniture didn’t really work. Only couple of elevators working and needed more central stairs . Breakfast was great. Hot tub and pool great.

I can’t speak about the hotel. I’m rating one star because I cancelled due to exceptional circumstances our flight to CO was cancelled due to the government shutdown and the hotel was not willing to provide a refund. I know in the past when such spectacular events occurred other hotels I have booked with were more reasonable and provided a refund or credit. It appears there is no way to protect yourself against flight delays or cancellations. And I literally just read an article about this very thing in Yahoo. Most hotels do make exceptions. Disappointed embassy did not.
