Really Great Location; Tops. Our host was tops, met us on time, helpful, excellent communicator. Great hot water and confortable bed. No view from the room, parking across the bridge but was safe and easy to get to.

Warm welcome by the staff at our arrival. We were able to leave our luggages prior to check-in. The had complimentary coffee and muffins which were highly appreciated. The bedroom was really nice and quiet. There is an elevator. They have terrasses and one is offerings a view of the city from the rooftop. The hotel is very well located with plenty of restaurants within less than 10 minutes walking distance. Highly recommended.

Location of this hotel was the best part - right on the main street, close to everything, and easy to get to. The main lobby was unique and looked the old pharmacy it used to be and the rooftop patio was nice place to take pictures and spend some time. The room itself was comfortable, though could have used some renovations. While the shower was larger than other hotels we stayed at in Portugal, the sealant could have be replaced as it was a bit grungy. The room was at the back of the building and on the 4th floor so it was quiet, except for we could hear the people in the room above us walking around. Staff were responsive online and let us check in an hour early, which was appreciated. Still good value for money though.

May 11/26 stayed for two nights. Good location in the old city. Google Maps provided incorrect drop off location so be aware. Carpet was dirty but we wore our travel slippers, vent in bathroom did not work. Room became quite damp. Pharmacy is in a 200+ year old building. Lots of noise do wear ear plugs. Staff at front desk lovely. They have a small kitchen to make coffee. NO IN ROOM SAFE
