We couldn’t get a reservation at Blue Wings Saloon nearby for Valentine’s Day, and the owner / manager made it happen for us - which was a welcome treat after a long day of travel. This place is a gem! The room was spotless with several nice touches. I got a patio room with the outdoor soaking tub, i used it frequently. One of the best perks i never would have known I would appreciate so much. The Blue Wing was great, just get the porkchop. The staff at both the Hotel and the Blue Wing were all great. I will be back!

Beautiful and Peaceful Hotel!

Stopped for one night on our way from Lassen Volcanic Park to Fort Bragg. We just loved this hotel! So comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff was very nice and the wonderful pool was a plus. I highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful place to stay in Upper Lake

Room was big, beautifully decorated and a great balcony which you could use during rain or shine. It was great to actually have cutlery that wasn’t plastic or wooden which is what we experienced in every hotel we stayed in during our road trip of California, also to use china tableware instead of throwaway plastic or paper plates. Great restaurant attached to the hotel, live music and fantastic/funny waitress. Would highly recommend both hotel and restaurant.
