"There are (at least) two wonderful aspects of Thunderbird Lodge. In no particular order, the first relates to the location of Thunderbird, inside Canyon de Chelly. The second is the friendly, welcoming, generous staff of people at the hotel who reflect the spirit of ancestors who lived in this inspiring location! "

"It was adequate, no more! The hotel show signs of aging, unlike the other Holiday Inn I stayed at before! The water for showers sink and toilet bowl was not clear (murky) that didn’t give a lot of confidence! Other than that the property was well maintained and rather nice!"

"Check-in requested downstairs due to a recent surgery. I was told no, even though my receipt showed a downstairs room. Magnetic key stopped working, when I went to the office to get it fixed, no one was there (around 2-3pm). Had to find staff. Room smelled moldy and toilet didn't flush well/water was brown. Took off toilet lid to see issue, back tank full of mold. Then, over charged by $10"
