Very old. Roo. Was qorn down and dirty. Gave it a 2 because the bed was comfy. Otherwise it struggles to be a 1 star. Called a spa motel. Has no spa.
During check in the guy and office smelled soooo bad my husband and son couldnt even stay in the office.
It was a prepaid reservation so couldt cancel
The bathroom floor was so gross my shoes wefe sticking to the floor.
Outlets and wall racks were falling off the walls.
Spend a bit more money and stay somewhere else.
Parking was $5 extra dollars which we didnt expect so we had to find street parking. There wre not near enough spots compared to rooms.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Staff was welcoming and friendly, check in was quick and easy.
Room - had a bit of a smell (old musty building smell). But the room was clean, bedding waa fresh and clean. Our room was on the main floor and walked out into the parking lot - was convenient to get in and out.
Breakfast - The motel itself doesn't have a kitchen, but there are several dining areas close, and a discount is offered.
Close to amenities and to the hotsprings for a fraction of the cost.
The bathroom had a musty smell.. all they had to do is wash/replace the shower curtain. Other then that it was everything I could expect or want at this price range. Great location.
Bed clean and fairly comfortable. Toilet, sink, tub clean. Spiders in every corner of the ceilings. Dirty window sills, baseboards. Broken window blinds, missing curtain. Carpet old and worn. Furniture old and worn or damaged.
Motel room was on bottom floor. The man working the reception was really friendly and told us hwere things were and 15 percent off at one of the diners. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable.
Ordered online no one at door to accommodate last came out apparently saying I should have got an email to cancel. Horrible horrible horrible do not recommend
Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was right in the centre of the little town. The outside of the hotel had no nice area to sit and it was a bit dated. I really didn't care at all though since the inside of the room was nice and it was in a great area. Other people might be put off by this though. I would definitely stay here again.
Do not be fooled by the 8.2 rating as we were. This is not an 8.2/10. It is a dump. The only thing it has going for it is the location across from the beach. The motel is aged, dated, moldy, and falling apart.
We really like the pet/smoking area where we could relax outside. It is so close to the beach and restaurants. The room had a stove element, plates, cutlery. The only thing I would add is a drip coffee maker.
I gave it this rating because I believe that you get what you pay for, and their rate was fairly reasonable.
That said, the bathroom top door hinge let go the first time we opened it. We reported it right away, but it wasn't looked at (we did only stay one night though). We had to lift the door off the floor to open it, and it couldn't be closed properly.
The coffee or creamer was undrinkable...possibly was just really old.
The motel was surrounded by upscale shops and restaurants, and was right across the street from the towns busy tourist view.
Sadly, we did not have time to EBH the hot springs.
