The place looks nice, such as the lobby and pool area, simple. However, there is work to be done. The room we had smelled moldy, and we had to leave the window open. Also, the pillows were old and had many yellow stains. We had asked this woman at reception to switch the pillow in the morning, but when we came back in the afternoon, it was not done. The door to the bathroom would not close as the doorknob was not working. The rooms are not noise-proof, so you hear the back alley and the room next door.

Hotel encantador, excelente ubicación, cuenta con piscina. Desafortunadamente mi habitación, en particular tenía un serio problema de drenaje, y se rebalsó el agua de la ducha, nos Dina cuenta en la primera mañana pero soli nos hospedamos una noche así que no fue de mucha molestia pero aparte de eso muy recomendado, el personal es muy servicial

Great location and air conditioning. However this was offset by very average service, uncomfortable bed, poor water pressure and limited hot water. Our shower ran out of water after 15 mins on one occasion; staff were unapologetic and offered no attempt at compensation. This hotel isn’t exactly marketed - or priced - as budget however overall this was our experience. Probably wouldn’t return again.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely town. Great location, clean rooms. The one downside is there was no coffee to be had .. none in the room (which is not unusual in Mexican hotels that aren't run by American companies) but also none in the lobby. This was just a minor inconvenience and wouldn't discourage me from staying again - sharing to give people a head's up

Great location, centrally situated. Beautiful exterior with new paint job. Negatives: horrible sewer stench coming from bathroom drains 24/7. Streaming access on tv was broken and never fixed. Threadbare towels. Stingy with toilet paper. Night clerks unfriendly.

Great hotel.

Overall excellent hotel. Screaming children in the common pool area detracted from enjoying the peaceful and tranquil inner courtyard / pool. Room was spacious and very clean. Good location to easily walk a good part of Centro.

We had an excellent experience with this hotel: charming, well-situated near the central plaza, staffed with very kind and helpful people; attractive and nicely-furnished rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief time here and wish we had longer to visit Valladolid… if that were the case we would have definitely continued our stay here. Family friendly and economical, but still rich in history and class.

Property was very nice! The ac in our room was not working properly upon arrival and we were given another room right away. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. We walked all over the city even late at night and felt very safe the whole time.

A clean, beautiful hotel, with attentive and friendly staff. We were really impressed with this place. They are staffed twenty-four hours a day. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, attractively furnished, with good air conditioning. It's just a few blocks from restaurants, the zocalo, churches, etc. We only stayed one night, but would have been happy to stay longer. They don't have breakfast, but there are a few options nearby. We checked out 3-4 places before sitting down and recommend Marimbo's, a block away.
