We booked room with sofa. Sofa and bed were comfortable. Very nice size room. Plenty of outlets. Nice size bathroom. Mini room with coffee maker & sink. Location of room was very good. Barely heard any noise from outside at night. Very happy.

No refrigerator. No desk or table in the room. Only one chair not conducive to using a laptop. Room was clean but instructions for using the radiator heat were vague. Front desk staff not friendly. Don't try to check in a little early - even fifteen minutes - they make you wait until 3 pm. Saving grace is the adjacent restaurants have suprr food & service!

Comfortable for an overnight stay, the staff was nice and accommodating. She was also informative about the checkout time which I had questions about. The room has seen better days but it is clean and tidy, just a bit worn. I walked to the surrounding area to get some water and takeout from a nearby restaurant in the evening, felt safe and the streets are clean.

Room smelled musty and dirty. Shower was unlevel and the TV had only 10 weird random channels. Overall isn't somewhere I would justify spending more than $80-90 a night, definitely not $200. However, the location is convenient and close to the beautiful downtown parks.

Things were ok at this hotel. Except their mean-spiritedness on check in. I went to check in. I was told your room is ready. But if you want to access it, you have to pay an extra fee. It WAS early, but if the room is already ready, the only reason to charge like that is greed and mean-spiritedness. Why not just let people go to rooms that are ready?

This was the worst room I've stayed in in Chicago, and yet it was still the same price as all the others. I reserved a king and was told king when checking in, but it was definitely a queen. Not a big deal at the time, but I could see it being an issue. No fitted sheet or mattress cover, so the flat sheets and blankets just came right off and exposed the mattress. I had to climb on the tub to pull down the blinds over the very large window in the shower. The tub wasn't fitted right, so it kept popping. There was no hot water. The bathroom was incredibly tiny; you had to smoosh into the sink to close the door to get to the toilet. And there is window AC, which I can't imagine is good enough in the summer considering I had it on the highest in October.
