We had a lovely stay at The Golden Arm. The location is ideal, the room was comfortable, clean and had great design personality. Note that there is no staff on the premises and everything is communicated through text which was tricky at first but quickly it was no problem. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice, spacious room in a great location of Wicker Park. There were tons of restaurants and shops right outside our door. We had a 3rd floor unit in this walk-up "hotel." My only slightly negative comment is that the mattress was a little soft/sunken in the middle.

Great location for access to Wicker Park neighborhood. Minor issues, shower door broken, dirty entry. Be prepared for zero amenities and no closet but everything you need is accessible nearby. Good room and reasonably quiet so if all you need is a place to sleep this is perfect.
