Good place for the price, very close to downtown Oak Park, which is hard to find. No issues getting in, bed was comfortable, parking is the typical trickiness of Oak Park, registering with the city but easy to do and well explained by the host. Communication from the host was great.The place definitely needs some TLC and basic maintenance. Chipping paint is coming off the tiles in the bathroom, a cat has gone at the edges of the couch, the wallpaper in the photo is falling down, etc. But nothing that really interferes with a comfortable night's sleep. More investment could really make this a gem - but then it would probably need to cost more, given other properties in the area.
