I reserved a Premier Room, and although we were informed upon arrival that we could check in early because rooms were available, the condition of the room fell far below expectations. The bathroom tub was not draining properly, so we had to contact the front desk for maintenance to come and address the issue. The bathroom door was also a major problem it wouldn’t close, and if you applied a bit too much pressure, it would jam completely, leaving the person inside unable to get out without someone else pushing it open from the outside.
The in-room amenities were also disappointing. The iron did not work at all, and the ironing board was in very poor condition, covered in burn marks and looking extremely worn out. To add to the overall experience, the staff in the parking lot were not courteous and did not provide the level of service we’ve come to expect over the years.
I have stayed at Los Cocos many times, but this visit has been the most disappointing by far. Sadly, based on this experience, it will likely be my last stay.
