Our experience with Collette was more than we could have hoped for. There was an issue with our booking and she went above and beyond to help my family get a room that was able to accommodate us. She was kind and so gracious despite the late hour. She made our stay so much more comfortable! The breakfast was hot and the breakfast hostesses worked hard to make sure that the buffet was stocked. There were many gluten free options

The entire staff during our stay were beyond welcoming and helpful starting with David and “Coke” at the front desk. From the moment that we checked in, and throughout our three day stay, they treated us like family as if we were repeat guests whom they’ve known for years. The property is kept up well and is in a great central location close to shops, restaurants, and the highway. The room was spacious and bed and pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast was great. The only thing that we felt needs improvement but will still give 5 stars for is that while the bathroom is very roomy, there is no shelf or counter where to place anything such as a robe, towels, toiletries or change of clothes. We look forward to staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Chesapeake on any future trips to the area.
