Many visitors arriving in Grand Cayman will plan to spend time participating in a number of water-based activities, such as sailing out to Stingray City where dozens of rays gather in hopes of getting fed. You’ll also find many land-based adventures including a trip to the conservation turtle farm, which provides visitors with a glimpse into the life of the sea turtle.

Getting Around

Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM) connects visitors with hotel vans, public buses or taxis into town. There are a number of vehicle rental companies offering cars, bicycles and scooters if you'd rather explore on your own. After obtaining a rental vehicle, exit the airport via Owen Roberts Drive, then enter Breezy Way and head south into the capital city of George Town.

The Cayman Islands National Museum provides guests with the chance to learn more about the history and heritage of the islands and the people, through a variety of exhibits and interactive activities. The William Eden house is another site of significance that was constructed more than 200 years ago. The Great House is considered the location where island democracy was born. The Cayman Motor Museum houses more than 80 vehicles, and some cars date back to 1886. The original "Bat Mobile" remains one of the prized possessions of the collection.
