I had such a great experience at the Staybridge Suites in downtown Chattanooga! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming — they truly made me feel at home. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of delicious options to start the day right. I also loved the overall environment of the hotel and its location — it’s in such a beautiful and convenient part of Chattanooga, located close to the convention center but still peaceful. The whole atmosphere just felt warm, comfortable, and inviting.

When I came in a pungent odor of must overwhelmed me. Not familiar with the city and the size of the hotel space surrounding I went to the room and found the air equally musty. I went to the air unit and saw black mold on the registers. I pulled out the screens and cleaned them they were filled w grey must. Thank god I travel w antiseptic wipes! The bathroom has something splattered in the wall. The tub had black marks in it. The fridge had dirt along the seal. Found eyelashes under the bedside stand and mold in the sink around the stopper . I toughed out the stay hoping the convenience would win me over. It didn’t. Food inedible - stale bagels, mold on the clementines, eggs over cooked. Wesley was the nicest part and I felt awful to even bring this up as I learned the last night of my stay others had checked out. Shame. I like other staybridges and my stay was five days.

Stayed for 4-days, 10/14th-17th/2025 The staff was amazing and very helpful and supplied anything we requested. I saw a maintenance person in the elevator during my stay, and he even asked how our stay was going and if we needed anything. The beds were comfortable. The furniture in the rooms need updating or a good cleaning. The rooms were clean enough but does need a thorough cleaning. There were plenty of dishes, but no cooking equipment (pots, pans, etc.) we didn’t cook, so this wasn’t an issue for us, but if we needed to, we couldn’t w/o asking for the equipment. The refrigerator should be pulled out and cleaned behind and underneath after every guest visit, this may limit the amount of roaches in the room. There were roaches in the rooms and the pool area. Now we saw 5 roaches total in the room, at different times, while we were staying there. We saw 1 roach in the pool area while we were there. The areas around the pool should be cleaned daily, we saw the same hunk of hair and trash in the corner, on the floor every day that we went to the pool. The overall state of the hotel was okay for the money we paid, along with the location. Having a super friendly staff helped make up for some of the drawbacks. I hope this information helps someone.

A secure and well positioned hotel within the downtown area. Functional kitchenette with enough utensils and appliances to make your own meals. Very convenient walk to grocery store and many local restaurants. Staff was friendly .

Unauthorized charges

Room carpets were crusty and hard carpet, dishwasher was full of powder soap so we couldnt use, microwave didnt work and the front desk didnt care, there is no oven in the suites just a hot plate. I prepaid the room on hotel.com and had to pay extra when I got there, the desk associated asked for a credit card and ID which I know is normal but then he swiped my card and told me I was being charged 18 dollars for parking but once I got up to my room it charge my card 44.63. I went to ask about charges and they told me it was a hold for damages if occurred and the 18 would hold and the other would drop off but the next day they charged me agine for parking another 18 dollars so be careful

The overall condition of the hotel was good. The only complaint was that I was charged $18.00 plus tax per day to park in the hotel lot and was not advised of such. Was literally walking distance from a customer's lot I could have parked in for free. They should have disclosed this up front.

We did not get the king room we reserved. We got to very uncomfortable full size beds. The room had a funky oder. The coffee the next morning at 6:30 had not been made and was cold. Was not a pleasant stay. Will not be going back. Wish I could get at least a partial refund.

Booked the hotel with the intentions of having the spa available. There was a sign on the door that it was not working. When I checked into the room, I had to pick up trash off the floor and throw it out. I asked the front desk three separate times for cleaner due to sticky stains on the tables and headboard. I literally had to clean my own room. Every time a shower was taken, the water just pooled in there and filled the tub up, despite the plug being up. I just looked at my bank statement and apparently they decided to charge $18 a day for parking without my knowledge. Possibly one of the worst establishments I’ve been too. Only book this if you enjoy driving 8 hours, then having to clean a hotel room and be billed unknowingly. I’d have given it zero stars if it allowed.

The rooms are in need of an upgrade, the rooms are dark, the lighting isn't great, everything just felt cheap, from the bed pillows, to the cheap plastic tub and everything else. The kitchen had no glasses to use. Will never stay at a Staybridge Hotel again.

Great place to stay!

Overall the rooms were nice and clean, a little outdated but still good. Only complaint I had was that the room only had one roll of toilet paper to use, it would be nice to have an extra. Central to a lot of areas in Chattanooga and easy to walk to them as well.

Everything was good just a bit out of date. The pull out couch was apparently extremely uncomfortable as said by my friend who stayed with us, but apart from that the front desk people and cleaning staff were extremely friendly and hard working.
