Great stay again. This is our second time at this home. There is plenty of room, it has a great layout, and the kitchen is spacious. We spent a lot of time in the game room downstairs and on the dock. Well designed for groups of 10-12 adults.

This house is amazing!! The pictures do not do it justice. It is by far the best house that my family and I have rented. The view of the lake is breathtaking...The owners have gone through great lengths to make the property like home. Both kitchens are stocked with every cooking gadget. Bathrooms include extra towels and toiletries. The bedding is as shown and the mattresses are extremely comfortable. The outdoor area is well designed.The support staff is responsive, polite and professional. I highly recommend this property and planned to rent it again.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. The house was exactly as advertised on the inside (beautiful, spacious, and filled with activities/games) but the backyard and dock really made the house extraordinary. We spent so much time in the backyard, on the dock, in the lake, and on the decks overlooking the water. When we first arrived, the outdoor furniture was not the cleanest, but the property management team was excellent and responded immediately, sending people out to clean all of the furniture and even replace cushions if needed. They were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. I would absolutely rent from them again to include renting this same property again. Thanks for the amazing time!!

Amazing Dock

The stay at Port Royale was excellent. Everything from check in, to cleanliness, to the house set up was just as listed and perfect for our stay of 22 people. The dock really takes the cake. With 12 kids staying at the place, they had plenty of lake time right there at the dock. They loved jumping off the diving board, swinging on the rope swing. And fishing right there. Our host was very responsive and easy to communicate and connect with. Lake Norman is beautiful and the house was wonderful.

Wonderful week at Lake Norman

The property is outstanding. Very high quality in all respects with a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Norman. We had a group of 22 and there was plenty of room. The house is beautifully appointed and supplied with everything renters would need. We all spent a great deal of time at the fantastic dock area swimming, diving off the diving board, and making use of the paddleboards and kayaks. Fishing poles and associated equipment were also provided(!) that the kids used to haul in several big catfish and dozens of sunfish. The movie theater and game room were also huge favorites with everyone. The AC unit for the main level malfunctioned and the issue was attentively dealt with the same day.

Would Go Again for Sure

Excellent location. Awesome house for large party. Best dock on the lake, I imagine. Game room area is fun and there are lots of options for people to pick from. Theater room looked incredible and TV worked well, but no one in our party could get surround sound to work. TV speakers were adequate though. Overall, one of our favorite houses after several years of family vacations at various lakes and beaches. Very nice! Only complaint would be the way the property was managed. The lady handling for the owner was nice, but did not seem to be in sync with VRBO at all. To the point that I was double billed several thousand dollars. I paid through VRBO and then a few weeks later received a bill for an even larger amount from the property management. Because the amounts were different, and you pay for these things on a preset installment schedule, had I not been paying attention, I would have paid a lot of money twice. Not cool. I think the owner needs to go through VRBO, or through property management. One or the other. Both, in a world full of scammers, is confusing and off putting for your customers. Everyone making purchases in, and giving their information in, cyberworld has to be playing defense. Having multiple sources coming at you for personal information and money is not helping anyone.

Fantastic property

Our group stayed at this property for a small company retreat. The photos were very accurate, the property was well maintained, and the kitchen had everything we needed for food preparation and serving. The gathering areas worked perfectly for our needs, including comfortable furniture, and the views were beautiful. Would absolutely stay here again.

A Birthday Celebration

I selected this property for a very special birthday celebration and it was everything I could have hoped for and more. The amenities of the house provided everyone fun filled activities that appealed to all ages and a spectacular view for those not as sporty or competitive. We loved our evenings around the fire pit. Kayla our Evoke concierge, addressed any hiccups we encountered quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this property and hope that you have Kayla to ensure that your visit is wonderful.

Lake stay long weekend

Spacious property for a large group. We’ll stocked kitchens and warm and welcoming living spaces and bedrooms. Dock and kayaks and paddle boards were a blast. Better connectivity to the outside from the main living space, such as an exterior stair way off of the patio would have been really nice.
