I like this hotel, & have stayed there routinely while working in the Charlotte area. The hotel is quiet, the staff is friendly, & I feel safe there. But…(there’s always a but:-) The in room ice maker hasn’t been working on my last few stays, & there are no out of room ice machines on the premises.

The atmosphere was inviting, but the bathtub fixtures were loose, hair in drain. The front desk kind of seems like they didn't want to be there. The handicap button on front door not working. The entrance on side of building, the key was not needed, all in all, not going back. I like the pool tho, lol

We arrived at the hotel around 11 PM, only to be told by the front desk staff that their system was down and they couldn’t check us in. There was no apology, no explanation, and absolutely no effort to offer a solution. The front desk person was incredibly rude and dismissive, leaving us stranded in the middle of the night with nowhere to stay. Before leaving to search for another hotel, we stopped to use the restroom in the lobby. It was filthy – there was a large puddle on the floor, no toilet paper, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in some time. This experience was unacceptable on every level. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Poor service, lack of professionalism, and unsanitary facilities – stay far away.

Dead roach on the ground by the kitchen but room was clean but the room trim is falling off and door handles were chipping. But hot water in the shower was fantastic!
