Step Inside
A custom front door with intricate glasswork sets the tone before you even walk in. Beyond it, an open-concept main level unfolds across gray hardwood floors, where the living, dining, and kitchen areas flow together beneath big windows framing the pool and lake beyond. Sink into the sectional with a movie on the 72" TV, or pull up a stool at the kitchen island and keep the cook company.
The chef's kitchen is a dream for group travel — gas stove, top-tier appliances, an island with seating for four, and an eat-in dining nook for six with a front-row view of the water. When it's time for a proper sit-down meal, the formal dining room anchors the space with seating for ten.
Where Everyone Sleeps
The main-level primary suite features a king bed and a spa-worthy en suite with a walk-in rain shower and a private sauna — crank the heat for a quiet reset after a day on the lake. Two more bedrooms on this floor share a hall bath, one with a queen and one with twin beds.
Upstairs, a spacious loft-style room sleeps up to six across three queen beds, with a cozy seating area and full bath of its own — ideal for the teens or cousins who want their own wing. Downstairs, the lower level offers a queen bedroom, a bunk room with two twin-over-full bunks (a hit with the kids), a full bath, and a half bath.
A Second Living Space Downstairs

This is where Oasis at Ballycastle really earns its name. Three-foot pavers wind through the backyard, connecting a run of spaces designed for different moods. A small sandy lounge area sits right at the water's edge — grab a chair, dip your toes in, watch the boats drift by.
From there, head to the pool and hot tub, backed by a full outdoor kitchen with a grill, stove, fridge, and dishwasher. A screened porch with a wood-burning fireplace offers a shady spot for sunset wind-downs on the sectional. - Spices/Oils, Etc: These items are not guaranteed. Sometimes they are left behind and available, but they are cleaned out regularly.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- The kitchen table seats 10.
- No events, group gatherings, or parties are allowed at any AvantStay property under any circumstances.
- Indoor fireplaces are NOT for guest use.
- Due to natural fluctuations, we’re unable to provide specific water depth information at any given time. The majority of docks in this area are generally suitable for most average-sized pontoons and ski boats. However, since boat drafts can vary, guests are encouraged to refer to Lake Norman nautical charts, GPS systems, and depth maps—and rely on their own knowledge of their vessel’s specifications—to ensure safe navigation.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
