House boat was great! We expected all 6 of us to have a place to sleep as advertised, but were unable to. We luckily brought a few cots to accommodate.

Host was very accommodating about a mixup on our end with booking. He met us around 11pm to let us in and walk us through and everything seemed good. After we flushed the toilet twice, an overwhelming smell of sewage filled the entire place. We slept out on the deck of the boat for the first night bc it was so strong. The next morning we contacted the host. Didn’t hear back from him until my husband called from a different number. Host said he would have someone out to empty the several FULL tanks but never did. We stayed out of the boat all day and instead of spending the second night there, we just left and went home. No refund, no response from VRBO or host.
